Jette Hooper, MD, FAAD
Dr. Jette Hooper, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist. She is a compassionate and highly skilled dermatologist with years of experience in providing expert care for a wide range of skin conditions. She specializes in medical, surgical, pediatric, and cosmetic dermatology, with a special interest in biologic treatments. Dr. Hooper believes that every patient deserves individualized care. Her approach combines cutting-edge medical knowledge with a personal touch. She takes the time to listen to her patients’ concerns, educates them on their condition, and collaborates with them to develop a treatment plan that aligns with their goals. Whether treating a chronic condition or rejuvenating skin, her focus is on delivering results that boost both skin health and self-confidence.
Dr. Hooper received a bachelor of science in biochemistry from the University of Washington. She later earned her medical degree from the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut, graduating with High Distinction. She went on to complete her transitional year internship at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She subsequently completed her dermatology residency training at The University of Connecticut, Department of Dermatology, where she served as Chief resident and gained experience in all facets of dermatology.
Dr. Hooper has authored many research articles published in peer reviewed journals such as the Journal of American Academy of Dermatology, Dermatologic Surgery, and Clinics in Dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
In her free time she likes to travel, play board games, lift weights, meditate, and go on long walks with her husband and dog.
